The Network

No organization needs to have every answer when it can be connected to organizations that collectively have more answers.

Trusted World is building a network that gives professionals access to resources, services, knowledge, and capabilities beyond what any single organization can provide.

The goal isn’t to make every need come through Trusted World. The goal is to make more solutions available to the people already helping.

01 — THE IDEA

Build access, not another silo.

The problem isn't always that a solution doesn't exist. Sometimes the problem is that the person who needs that solution—or the professional helping them—doesn't know it exists, can't find it, or has no practical way to access it.

The Trusted World Network is designed to connect those capabilities rather than requiring every organization to recreate them.

02 — TWO ROLES

Trusted World builds the system—and participates in it.

As the system builder, we develop and maintain the infrastructure, technology, relationships, information, and processes that connect professionals to resources and capabilities.

As a service provider, Trusted World is also one of the options available through that system. When someone needs clothing, food, toiletries, or other essential resources we provide, Trusted World can respond directly through the professional serving them.

But we don't have to provide every solution.

Our job is to make more solutions reachable.

03 — THE PEOPLE

The network starts with professionals who see the need.

School counselors, police officers, social workers, nonprofit professionals, and others encounter needs every day.

They already have something a centralized system cannot manufacture: the relationship.

The network is designed to strengthen those professionals rather than replace them. It gives them somewhere to turn when the need in front of them extends beyond their organization's resources or expertise.

04 — THE CAPABILITIES

A network becomes valuable because of what people can reach through it.

Essential resources are one capability.

But the network can extend much further: financial education, community services, specialized resources, organizations in Trusted Directory®, services available through Trusted Resources, and capabilities contributed by other network participants.

As the network grows, the question changes from:

“Does Trusted World provide this?”

to:

“Can the network help me reach someone who does?”

That is a major idea. I would probably visually emphasize those last two questions.

05 — THE SUPPORT

Some organizations provide services. Others make the services possible.

Companies, donors, volunteers, foundations, financial institutions, and community supporters may never fulfill a request themselves.

They still play an essential role.

They contribute funding, products, volunteer hours, expertise, technology, relationships, and other resources that increase the capacity of the entire network.

The network isn't made only of organizations receiving or providing services. It also includes the organizations making those services possible.

The strength of the network isn't what any one organization can do.

It's what becomes possible when their capabilities are connected.

Get Involved

Strengthen the system.

Trusted World works because resources, people, and organizations contribute to the same infrastructure.
